Site Tips
001. Visit other people's site and leave them nice comments.
002. Never use glitter and/or blinking backgrounds. It looks unprofessional and visitors won't want to come back again.
003. Never steal other's creations or resources. People spent time and effort on them and the worst thing for a designer is to be stolen. Also, always give credit when needed.
004. Update your site often so then people can look at something new! Also, talk a little about your personal life in your blogs or updates so people can learn about you.
005. Use nice colors so your site has a matching color scheme. This will make the appearance of your site more professional and good looking.
006. Have a lot of visitor content. The more, the better. People will come back and visit your site to check out your new stuff!
007. Write properly. Visitors don't like to read something unreadable. Also have a font with a good size. 8pt might be the minimum, according to us.
How to choose a good name
001. Don't choose a long site name, with xo, dashes, etc. Make it short and easy to remember! Also, avoid numbers if they don't have a special meaning to you or the site name.
002. You can choose a number that's special to you and a word that you like. For example, 79 and roses, which gives 79roses as a name. It's simple, short and even if it has a number in it, it has a meaning, in a way.
003. You can choose an adjective that you like and follow it with 'designs'. For example, fearless-designs. Another option is to just keep the adjective by itself, which would give 'fearless' as your site name. It looks better if you have a subdomain though.
How to have unique graphics
001. Experiment things in your program. Read tutorials on sites and try new techniques.
002. Don't just use one style in your graphics. Try different ones, without copying others.
How to have a unique site
001. Think about new things you could offer to your visitors. Don't just stick with graphics, but give resources too.
002. Offer other tutorials than basic ones. Everyone knows how to make brushes from an image pack. Teach about techniques and more advanced stuff.
